The nose simultaneously marries concentration, freshness, generosity, and strength. It offers fruity and floral notes, with a hint of citrus.
Body
In the mouth, the attack is straightforward, strong, and fruity. It reveals pleasant floral and white fruit notes. The mineral finish is pure, clean, and rich.

Terroir
Clay-limestone, 30 cm of sand before reaching a layer of Late Turonian limestone.
Vine care
Enclosed by 300 year old stone walls overlooking the Loire Valley.
100% tillage, natural grass cover.
Plantation with 6,500 grapevines/ha, massal selection.
Vinification
Manual harvest. Alcohol fermentation in 600 liter oval barrels with 52 mm thick walls.
Pneumatic pressing for 4 hours; natural strength of 12.8°; duration of fermentation 3 months. Aged on fine lees for 9 months.
All operations are carried out at a low temperature in an underground cellar to preserve the wine’s fruitiness.
